Unsubscribe from the Communitylife email list

Seeing as you’re viewing this page, we presume you’ve either moved out of Hangman or that you simply don’t wish to receive any more Communitylife communications. Either way, we’re sorry to see you go.

Please recall that the Communitylife email list is an entirely separate entity from the Hangmanhills.org website, and is intended to be self sustaining. Accordingly, subscription management—including subscribing to the list and unsubscribing from the list—is managed by the users themselves, without any other outside intervention.

Notably, if you are currently subscribed to the list, you prior subscribed to it, and to be removed from the list, you must unsubscribe from it. Fortunately, there are a couple easy ways to unsubscribe from the Hangman Hills Communitylife email list:

  • If you remember the email address you used to subscribe to the list: simply click here and then at the bottom of the form click on the button, Unsubscribe or edit options after first entering your Communitylife list email address of record in the box to the left of the button.
  • If you don’t remember the email address you used to subscribe to the list: all you need to do is look in your inbox to find an old monthly automated password reminder email from the list admin (communitylife-owner@hangmanhills.org)—the subject is hangmanhills.org mailing list memberships reminder—or wait for the next regular reminder email, and then note that email’s addressee, or look in the body of the email where it says “Passwords for [the email address you registered with]”; this is the email address you used to subscribe to the Communitylife email list. Armed with the requisite email address, you can now unsubscribe as described above.

Please do NOT try to contact an HHRA board member or the webmaster to remove you from the Communitylife email list—in order to remove someone from the list it is necessary to know the subscriber’s email address that was used to subscribe to the list in the first place, and because the list subscription process is wholly accomplished by the user, their (list) email address of record is unknown to anyone other than the user.
